It is raining outside.I wake up around 3am and can't get back to sleep again. Then I start thinking a lot of stuff.
I think of my late parents.I think of them happily together-gether.( Malaysian English) I know my parents have try their level best to give us the best of what they can offer at that time. Yesterday I took leave and was with my sister -Suk for the whole morning.She has a RHB bank manager who is willing to help us to invest cash in ASB. Money for higher interest. We open accounts for ASB. We shared a lot of past experiences in life. We envy her parents so much.In the 1950s, their parents starts sending their children to overseas--England. And their family is formerly from Bintangor as well. I see that if parents have far vision, their children can do better in life than those conservative ones.My parents are very conservative. If I mention of somewhere outside Bintangor, they were never allowed. To them , Bintangor is the biggest place and safest to stay! They are scared of outside world. That is their mentality! but nothing happen to us! we are better outside Bintangor.I can assured you, definitely we are much ,much better outside our small place of Bintangor.
And also the Chinese family love male more than female. that is for sure. But that manager family is different!. She was relating to us that her late father said that girls are even more important in terms of education. I love the way her parents think of life. That is why I am very rebellious when people talk about not sending the female siblings to school. May be that is why God give me all the girls. God I thank you of all what you gave me.
I also think of the selfish relatives as what Nong Nong mention in her blog. They are funny people . They only know to receive and not to give.We will see how much better they are!So girls, we must strive for better things in life. mum will offer what is best for you all to become better people than them.
