Saturday (27/8/2011)

when we came back from town only to find out that we didn't bring our main door key

I went round hospital only to find out that I am not able to get any help any where

so we 2 start thinking what to do next

we went round the whole house only to find that the security is really tight

we have no way to go into the house

i told dad to kick in through

so he give it a kick and the door is opened

so the next day i complain that our door key is spoiled

so they come to repay the door key !

schizophrenia patient by the name of Gaduh came to hospital Kapit for shelter

they are really smart people

they know very well that she will get help from here

she brings all her property to hospital

--stove, mattress , pillow etc

she told people she stay under the stairs

that is the place in front of the conference room

there are a few batch where she can lie down comfortably

on the Friday (26/8/2011)

on my way back from work

I saw all her properties there

when I think of her kerosene stove

I start to get worry if she starts cooking there

because near there is where we keep our O2 plant

so i tell the hospital security to keep an eye on her

truly she didn't starts any cooking

OMG

that's where I got worried over my week end

so I brought her food and drinks for fear that she might be starved

but mind you

she even can say - God bless you

my tears just come out like rain

people who's mental -- not sound in her mind

but she can say good words of god

people who are so sensible who are not even like her!

she stays in hospital as her shelter till Monday

then the hospital welfare staff send her to another place where she called home !

God bless her .

we all grumble -- every now and than

but we never realize that we are so much better than those who suffer

do you all think they are born to suffer?

the answer is -- no

they are just less fortunate than us

you all might say

time has change, we are born in different generation

but the world is round

that's never changing

People in UK( Ulu Kapit) has a lot to suffer to survive

but it seems that they are happy people

we can see joy in their face

My British friend-- Mr Ben Siegmund agrees with me

he visited Kapit Hospital last month

he loves the green anyway

anyway be happy always

when you are down

think of those who are even less fortunate than you

when you are crying over no shoes to use

think of people who have no legs !

I am counting days for my retirement date

that means that i am near 58 years old

well I don't feel old at all

I feel as young as ever

I have so much things to do each day

feels rather happy to meet up my children

they are my assets in life

they are all what i have in this complicated world

I love you all with all my heart

sometimes I do scold you all

but that's meant for good

after all i am no GOD

I am a human like anybody else !

8/2/2011-- the day I was promoted to U42(M)

I went to Kapit to report to Dr Ngian on 21/2/2011-- I heard that she complain to state pengarah why send someone near retirement to her hospital because I am the least useful people according to their mentality because I don't have time to plan what I have to do

but I have proof to them that I am still useful

I am the resource personel

I can help up with so many things

I know that Kapit Hospital is in the process of accreditation when I was transfer here

the assessment date is on 5-7/5 /2011

but I help to reform a few units

the laboratory is so messy

the ER department is no better as well

I took a week to reform these places

the staff here can also realize that if I don't help up

they will fail the accreditation

now that we were accredited for 3 years

praise the lord

without you

I cannot be what I am as well

the nursing standard is also low

I don't mean I can do all these alone

but I am here to guide

I see what people don't see

now we are a bit more in the correct path

medication error is also a problem

the pharmacy department and me work hand in hand to improve on these

we have issue so many incident reports

our pengarah is very supportive on our projects

my sincere thanks to her

I planned for a July leave a couple of weeks ago

Planning of what to do --do what and the how

wake up rather early on 5 Th morning

walk down my way to the wharf alone

in the dark

not scare at all

cos I know , I will be home soonest

the express boat has brief stop at SONG and kanowit

picking and dropping passengers

the journey took around 3 hours to reach sibu

there i have to meet Mr Wong for the Bako land dispute thingy

such a man !

has been asking for cash( Rm 350) for the processing of the Bako land title

by the way , dad is the one who drives him here and there in Kuching

and today , i have to bring all the documents to KuchingLand Survey !

so I took out my money and i pay him Rm 300

I left only less than Rm 50 !

i am going to ATM in Sarikei anyway !

after that i took a bus to sarikei to meet my third sister

i stop near her place and i haven't got a chance to reach town to get some money !

so i have a brief stop over at her place

ended up in an unpleasant situation after meeting that crazy brother of mine

we have a quarrel and i left

i reach the bus terminal and find that i have only Rm 31.75 !

i told the lady that i have only what i have and the bus is waiting for me !

and that counter lady is so nice to let me have a ticket at Rm 31 .

so i left 75 cents for my journey !

and i have not ate since morning apart from a cup of oats

the bus stop for a rest

with my 75 cents

i bought an egg -- 70cents

i still left 5 cents

that's my poorest day in my life !

sometimes - life does not turn out the way you want it to be

well , that's life

i am still what i am today

the Burmese specialist--throw a temper to we two( Matron Masita and Ngu )

she just come a few months to Kapit Hospital

and she is lazy

on Wednesday (22/6/2011)

there is no medical officer (MO) in her area ( the Paediatric MO is covering her area and she is to do her area first )

The MO has his duty at the one Malaysia boat clinic for a week

she c/o that no one take a consent for the laporatomy patient

another MO is rude talking to her

and her ward-- OB (obstetric )

the patients is around 9-12 patients each day

OMG ment hire you to come to relax ? and makan gaji only kah ?

what a annoying thing !

i say that he can ask Mei himself

no ball to find out things himself

and he never offer a help at all !

yesterday i want to sign out the face book account ( while he is still on the lap top , and is time to go to work )

he say -- why need to sign out -- any secrets ?

secrets - none , but i don't want any quarrel any more because of so many previous issues

when reach my working place,

my phone rings

" i am going back to Kuching , no food this afternoon "

well , will i starve of hunger?

i can breathe my own air for a little while

the room key was passed to me by a colleage ( iban JM) from the Medical ward

she told me that he give her the key at the wharf

when she go escorting a patient to the wharf !

Diana has been with us for a couple of days since her winter break

she is with us nearly everyday

we will leave the skype on even we are out to town

i will on the radio for her to listen

and she will see her film series and i can hear the music( but of course -- can't see)

we are very happy that way ( me at least)

when i see her on the screen

i feel very excited

we all love you so much

Aunt Suk share with me that one of Richard 's friend want to quit study in Australia because of the extreme cold weather

well , i see things in a different prospective

the cold chain fridge temperature can shoot up to 27 degree Celsus over a period of few hours ?

i dream of myself going out shopping

everything will be alright

longing for my NZ holiday

is has been planned since last year

that s way back in November 2010

that is the time when we plan to move to Pusat Jantung Kota Samarahan

everybody worry this and that

i always tell myself

take it easy, things will be alright

i start packing at the last week of moving

i took about 2-3 days to pack my things

and everything is under control

31/12/2010 is the moving day

i am the chief commander at the moving end

things go on smoothly

everything are under control

and we have do it well

if not the best

than come the Kapit transfer

is just come at a time

before i come to Kapit

i was worry

when i am here

i am sort of happy

everybody is so helpful and so near to me

well what is that to worry

in life we can't be too optimistic

don't think of bad things as a whole

take things easy

than it will be alright

we have so many family trips all this while

it is not a problem so far

now that we are all adults

it should not be a barden to anyone

we know exactly what to do

i just don't understand why it should be a barden to anyone

we know what to do

siblings quarrel a bit is quite normal

Acreditation thingy

pengarah hospital - Dr Ngian tell me to help up for reforming the stubborn units in Kapit Hospital

all the wards --maternity/gynae , medical ward, surgical ward, paediatric ward,

were all not bad

i just tell here

and they can follow fairly well

Emergency trauma dept( ETD ) and the laboratory dept are tough

they are really in bad shape !

the places are dirty , messy and in a mess

i spent around 10 days to reform ETD dept

i give suggestions

i help them with the moving sometimes

i help them to through away unwanted things, old things , things that are not used, things that are beyond repair, the lists go on

oh , it is great now

they are so happy about it

they say that i help them a lot

actually i didn't do much

i use common sense

i ask them few questions

- do you use this

-can this be used

-do you need this

-you still using

-do you think this thing should be here--table , trolley, stand etc

laboratory-- i took 2 days only

i use the same principles

they are reformed!

they are so happy also !

so my philosophy is

-throw, rearrange, relocate,keep in store

to solve their problems

it is really useful .

talking to Dr Sim--my ex-boss

she passed to him her out patient card

she say that she want to be seen by him

because he is such a good doctor

I saw an old lady bathing at one corner at the pork market topless !

i saw a little boy bathing in a big square sink with a big piece of wild bore!

635 am I start skype with my little girl Diana

we skype for a while and we decided to go to town

we let the skype to be on

I on the radio

and DD is kept accompanied by the radio

so we left for town

dd is left alone with the radio

dad says dd is in the room !

sometimes in life

we just want to be accompanied by someone

then we feel so happy

we need not to spend any cash to make someone happy

we just need to stay with them

and listen to them !

we went to church today

the paster started with her nagging mum

ask if she has eaten, bathe, blanketed, close the window , the door, gas off or not

and the lists goes on ..........

I was so touched and my tears just come out so automatically...

well well , we must be so blessed your mum is still able to say so many words to you !

Intensive Care Unit. (ICU)

Before I come to Kapit

chief matron of HUS already hints me that I am to set up ICU unit in Kapit

well , it is not a big deal for me

I am quite comfortable with the whole thing

For the past few weeks , I have been working on it

we are near there now

the quotations of equipments, air compressors. and many others are up already

I feel quite relieve now.

just waiting for the equipments in and the installations to be done.

Accreditation for Hospital Kapit

it has been a long time working on accreditation thingy

last month 4-6 /4/2011 , we have mode survey by the Sibu Hospital group

it is quite a brief one

it seems that we still have a lot to put in place

we are waiting to see in this 4-6 /5/2011

ho ho.. I will be going for holiday after that

looking forward for my holidays In New Zealand.

quite shocked to see simple thing like TPR tray are not in place in all the wards here

medical ward has 4 thermometers only!

OMG !

how can that be !

and there s no receiver for the used thermometers !

it is like a storage trolley for the emergency apparatus for most of the wards

I can't do much right now

because the accreditation is just around the Corner

I told Dr Ngian that I will change after the accreditation.

Kapit town

mountainous place

houses are here and there

this is because the land is rather hilly

they people chose to build the houses at an area of flat land area

so you can see houses at flat land area only

they will avoid the mountains

so we can see houses --one area here and another area there

there are no houses at the mountains

the town is rather small

half an hour , we can round the whole town

the life here are rather primitive

you cant get what you want in big places like Kuching

they only have things enough to go for basic life

lots of wild vegetables, wild bore, dear, snake meat -- anything wild here , you get them here !

i was promoted to U42 on this day

that is the highest grade i can go for non degree holder

really h8ave a mix feeling after knowing the result-- go or stay ?

i go to the clerk and ask a few questions

how much do i benefit from accepting the offer

after calculating

i will get gratuity of more than 6k

a monthly pension of 121 rm per month

well not bad le

so here i am -- Kapit here i come

i came to kapit to report to Dr Ngian Hie Ung --hospital director

she s also the MOH of Kapit division

i tell her that i am appealing to stay back at Pusat jantung HUS

she tell me briefly that it were be ok for her side

after all without me

Kapit hospital still goes on

well life always goes on with or without you!

time passed

my appeal was not entertained at all

well -- seems like the JKNS management are not interested in us all!

promotion thingy

praise the lord that I am promoted again

last promotion was on 23/9/2007

to the post of U36 matron post

so now I am promoted to U42 -- matron post but of different grade.

am happy one thing and unhappy on the other hand.

i will be transferred to another hospital !

there are 2 other assistant medical officers who are also promoted

our boss -Dr Sim helps them to appeal

I also told Dr Sim about my promotion thing .

he also help me to SMS my state matron

so i don't know what will be the outcome

pray for me that I don't need the transfer thing !

friends come and go

my two younger girls are facing friends leaving them

well, we have experienced lots of that things in life

we gone through that many many times in life !

friends are meant to be like that !

i have got so many friends leaving us every now and then

now when I think back

God has it's own way to guide us

the friends that leave me -- to me were leaving me for good

I don't need that type of friends in life

some friends -- take advantage of you

some -- make use of you

some --for a purpose

some -- jealous

some--get some news from you to tell other people

the list go on ....

there are very few genuine friends in this world

when they feel that you are nomore useful

they leave you!

we very seldom have really good friends in life

even someone left their dearest parents

It is a real challenging year for me

We all work non stop -- I mean no off days for the past 3 weeks

OMG ! It is really hard work !

31/1/2011 was a public holiday -- Malaysia win football !

we all work on that day !

we are all busy preparing for our moving to our new hospital -formally known as SIMC !

it is history -- it is now Heart Centre Sarawak General Hospital ( Pusat Jantung Hospital Umum Sarawak )

We moved on 1.1.11 (ie 1/1/2011 )

we have made history !

but its really hard work !
we met all sorts of funny people around .
some shouting . another screaming , some walk out from meetings--oooo
some couldn't care . some make no know . some ignoring . some make all sorts of excuses.
life is such a challenging thing !

what is prunes?
i try to explain to her.
she say -- thats something expensive. she shed tears as she tell me .
oooo I'm speechless!
i get Dr to precribe Lactolose ( sth to ease her constipation )
she related to me she had 5 children --all of them have their own family
only the youngest son -- who is married and has no children yet
that s the only son who support her finiancially
OMG!-- she has to take PRAVIX (an antiplatilet drug) and she has to pay around >rm 200 more month. can she afford ?

as we talk ,
she related to me she had a relative
who die in the hospital in the ICU last time
her children is a DR working in Rejang Medical Center who's a orthopaedic surgeon by surname Tang
then she tell me more about that family
i can figured out someone i know of
i help her to ring the relative
they met and they talk
And i left
OMG ! we have to know lots of things in this world in order to help people !

Etiquette

the ability to get along with others, demonstrate good manners, perform acts of consideration and put others at ease. while this qualities have always been appreciated.In today's hectic and often self-centred world ,they act as beacons that cause a person to shine out from the crowd.True act of courtesy are performed, not out of a sense of obligation or in a patronising way , but out of genuine respect , care and thoughtfulness for the person(s) in question, regardless of any cultural, political or religious differences. Of course , etiquette for etiquette's sake will be an empty and meaningless activity. But genuine good manners and a working knowledge of professional behaviour are essential and productive business skills.

Handshakes

The handshake is the most traditional of all the form of welcome. It can set the entire tone of meeting. In the past , it was initiated to show that you were unarmed. today it shows respect and friendship.

whoever extends their hand first has the distinct advantage. When you use a confident grip,not a' bone crusher 'handshake . You are being direct , taking initiative , and establishing control.It is not necessary for a woman to wait for a male to offer for his hand first,

Make eye contact and smile. Looking people in the eye gives them the impression that you are trustworthy and confident in your ability.your smile should be sincere as it will set the tone of the meeting and put everyone at ease.

we chat and planed out for the decontamination of the fungal thingy

the problem of human relationship has hunted me for the past month or so

i went to cardiac clinic

i see that it is time to act

i call the 2 staff who had conflict, to a room

another one to be the witness

so 4 of us are in the room

i start out the rolling ball

nurse A ( a bad nurse)

wherever she work , she create trouble

nurse B - a good nurse ( a devoted christian )

i really don't know why they have conflict

they don't talk to each other for sometime already

my intention today is to make them to apologise to each other and become friends again

at one stage --these 2 talking as if want to have something rocky

they blame each other of some small matter

nurse A is really stubborn

i look into her face - OMG--no wander she don't get married !

she s a fierce face !

she sort of blaming everything !

she refuse to listen to advice

at one stage - she says that she do not like her friend to be called to do work when they are having their drink

i ask her if her friend- that one being called get angry ? she say - no

then why she has to get angry for them ?

i m so doubtful

Suk and me decided to celebrate her birthday in our house
we go to sunday market early to buy chicken
Suk buy 4 chickens and i buy 2
suk say she don't know how to slaughter the chicks
so i say i do the slaughtering and she do the others
so we slaughter 2 by 2 by 2
the 1st 2-- one -suk bring home to cook for lunch
2nd one -- cook in our place for making mee sua
we boil some eggs

2/11/2010 is old soul 's day for the Christian
my colleage Anna took a day off to pay respect to her late husband
when she came back to work the next day
she talk weird -- people keep asking where she go, their husband never die !!!
OMG! what type of communication skill ?

Mum ask -- is he no more ?

this 14 years old big boy-- really big
told his mum- who's a nursing sister in a policlinic
that he was called by a school teacher to do some work at school
but instead, he drive a motorbike with a friend going some where else
and involved in a fatal accident
he was admitted to the ICU for 2 0r 3 days
and he passed away
it was a friday (5/11/2010)
around 240pm when he passed away
i happen to be there
and i go to console the mum
i was quite shock
when the mum go and ask the doctor-- no more kah?
and she say - today is friday
they want to bury him today
so that he will have less sufferings
she quick quick ask the nurses to undo all the tubes from his body
EVEN DIED- THE MUM STILL WANT THE BEST FOR HIM !

Datuk Sri Yao Ping Hua 's death
he has been my patient on and off since last year.
he is a nice man and he likes to talk and shares a lot of things with me
in September 2010, he was diagnosed as hepatoma.
he was very depressed that time
i talked to him just to ease him out
and it did
he started to smile as he share his story with me
i told him , if he smile , i don't see any sickness in him
he told me he has 2 missions to accomplish.
1. to finish writing his biography
2. to celebrate and take a family photo for his 70th wedding ceremony in 2 years time with all his grand and great grand children -- from all over the world !

as he talk , i can see that he s so happy waiting for the day to come. i feel so happy for him as well !
may be more than 30 days has passed.
he is readmitted !
he is so sick-- i couldn't believe it
i go near him and say-- Matron Ngu come to see you lo
his sound was very soft - i hardly can hear him !
he was with us for a week or so
he become so critically ill and the family decided to bring him home on Sunday at 8 pm
and he passed away on Monday at 340pm !
5 matrons with our Pengarah- dr Rahim went to pay our last respect to him
he looked so peaceful !
but his wife is so sad !
keep crying.
she tells me -- that she s very lucky that God had chosen him for her !

in life , we cannot be too calculative !
we must think of other people .
we must not bring hardship to other people.
we must be very caring and love others just like you love your parents
we must love our seedblings as if you love yourself
we not only love our husband or in laws
we must love others as well
we must not cause unhappiness to other people

I was on my way from main office to my own area.
i saw a man smoking away outside the operation theater.
i was panic by the sight
i told him that he is not allowed to smoke within hospital compound
he told me that it is an electric cigarette and he is even allowed to smoke in a plane !

he says that this thing come out for quite a while already
actually it is nicotine puff !

my peer's father is admitted to another hospital
she and his brother--a nurse and a doctor
dad is left under her other brother and sister's care
when he was young, he worked in Pupua Newguine, earning big bugs
then he forget his people at home
he had another home in the new place
the family was brought up by their mother
who had a hard time

years passed
no news of him
this year
a call was received
the dad is having cva--cerebral vascular accident
causing his body paralyses
the family brought him to Malaysia home
home sweet home
only few days at home
he developed bed sores-- really bad
then hospitalised- nearly a month now
now he s waiting for the DAY !
the children ask . where are you ? when we need you ?

He is with us since 31/5/2010. he had another attack of pheumothorex again this afternoon.I happened to be there. when he is a bit better, he says that he not even marry ! he is only 17 ! meaning that he think far for himself ! all of us were there in Singapore except Diana
Diana is too far away , or else we would be bringing her along. DD --sorry.

We were very happy sardine ourselves together in a room-- thank the house owner to accommodate us . Thank you so much .

This is our 2nd trip to Singapore-- spending quality time with my children. 1st trip is last year -- during Xmas time. also 5 of us together in the same crowded room.DD joined us in Johor Bahru . Her passport was handed over for her visa thingy to New Zealand.
But our family re-union in Johor Bahru !
That is something to be remembered. I love my family .

paternal grandpa

He was a nice man. But he couldn't stand on his own. He had no balls of his own. He was controlled by his wife ,who is like a witch, if he didn't listen to her, she will cried whole night. I saw it with my own eyes!

When he got old, the old lady didn't treat him well.She used to scold him a lot. I pitied him sometimes. But he was just my in law! I couldn't say much ,because I am nobody in that family of the Tang dynasty!

One day,he fell ill. Nobody bring him to see a doctor.Everybody talked and talked and at the end pushed to us. I brought him to see a doctor in the government hospital where I worked last time.Actually he was sick enough to get admitted. But the doctor on duty said that I m capable to look after him at home.Well, I couldn't do anything! I accepted him to our home----to my room!well ,looking after an old sick man is not easy at all! I don't mind at all. After all ,I looked after people whom I don't even know !So there he stayed in our house till his last breathe.I send him to the hospital for admission, when he was more sick, using an ambulance, all by myself. The old lady was at our house , She didn't follow us. She went home to Bintangor.She always say, send the old man to hospital--the nurses in the hospital will change him when he pee and pass motion. In her eyes, the nurses are the people who are maids to change pee and motion only!

While in our house , I always cooked porridge for him. I always put in lots of things so that the porridge taste very nice. I remembered one day the old man told me that I cooked delicious porridge!While he was with us , he motion on the bed, the floor and sometimes outside the toilet bowl!the whole house smell of farces.

The old man stayed in the hospital for 8 days before he took his last breathe. While in the hospital , the Tang family used to say --oh ,ah kee wife (that is me) inside hospital , you all no need to look after the old man. Well my stand is always the same--that is people I don't even know , I look after, So it is OK for me.

Whenever their family go to hospital, they check one thing---that is open up the sarong and see if the old man pee or pass motion. If wet , they all say one word , nurse change him!

He died of septicaemia with multiple organs failure.

After funeral, I heard something ridiculous! "You kill dad" yeah, why say things like that!

I was really shocked when hearing such a comment! The old lady , the youngest sister in law---treat me very badly! they see me transparent . they talk to me as if I m nobody to them. They treat me worse than an animal outside their house! many times ,dad quarrel with me many times because of that issue. I nearly end up in a divorce!

The paternal grandma

When we went for Chin Ming on April this year, I noticed the old lady walking unsteady on flat ground. I didn't say anything till we came back to Kuching.

When we were in Indonesia, the elder brother rang to dad, saying that old lady is ill.So dad is so anxious to go back to Bintangor!

Dad went back since 21/5/2010 till now(today is 8/6/2010). 2 days ago, dad ask me to take leave to go home to make some decision. I refuse.I told dad that she is their mother and they have to come out with something . Not me! I "m to be blame again!

I'm not wrong! today dad grumble to me saying that his mum everyday scold him.Everyday tell him --- Ah hing anak so pandai, their cucu , the head so big--next time like ah hing ....jadi rich people, ah kong anak very pandai...bla..bla...

dad hate her very much. He wants to come home. Home is waiting for you!

I still remembered ,when the old lady got admitted years back, when my turn to look after her in hospital, if I sat this side of the bed, she turned to the other side. It is OK for me, I talk to my colleague while my turn to look after her .I told dad, if she don't like you, your heart give to her to eat , she will not appreciate also . So that is life. let those whom she favors to look after her for ever and ever!

Nurse fight nurse

on31/5/2010, something so peculiar happen. The junior nurse fighting with a senior nurse.

I just can't imagine thing like that happen so near to me. the 26 years old beat up the 51 years old till she bruises on her body few places. Imagine that , the senior nurse is just like her mother! How can she beat her !OMG! now it is a police case, and is in the newspaper today!

* Diana always ask, any story to tell? I am wandering what she want me to tell her. Everyday , I web cam with her . Sometimes, in one day , we web cam twice. I don't know what else to tell her.

* Hmmmm, today story time.

*Face book may be banned for civil servants during working hour. I am very sure there are many government workers who were on face book while at work. This is fact of life. The other day, there is a lady who is ex state pengarah's 'wife.' ( I don't know no. what already) she is so proud to tell people that she is pengarah's wife. I heard that she always report her colleagues to her 'husband' that they are on fb while at work.

In February ,she was admitted to HUS for delivery.(anak luar nika) nobody even care about her because her 'husband' was 'tarik balek' to home town by her 1st wife. make senyap- senyap, keluar baby besar, cannot hide one. LSCS pula! she is so suffering now. That man disappearing into the thing air.

*Last two days, a 14 years old Malay girl was robbed and was stabbed to death by a group of 'gangster 'at MJC near the Petronas oil station. what to rob on a young girl like that? If want to rob, target someone rich .

* think back on my two girls being robbed in January 2010. I really feel that we are so greatful to GOD. If only they were killed, it is just mati katak. Thank you ,THE ALMIGHTY GOD

*I was sharing some past events with daddy. There was a lady who was admitted for LSCS.Not for BTL.That morning, that Dr scolded the assisting nurse. She was so unhappy that she refuses to talk to that Dr. throughout the operation . So ,that Dr do LSCS (lower segment caeserian section )+ BTL (bilateral tubal ligature). OMG they are on court case now.

I also share one story with dad. I was a junior nurse in Sarikei. An MO ( medical officer)did a POP on an old lady's left leg while she had a right leg fracture. OMG! we were all teasing that the old lady were tell her long house mates that the hospital is very wonderful. If you had a broken leg, the Dr would treat your good one!

It mean your close relatives . There is this story ( happened in England), the boy (from Sarawak) and girl ( from Singapore) just met each other. One day , while they were together, the girl felt sick.So the boy sent her to hospital for treatment. The Dr felt that the girl need to be admitted to the hospital . Their singlish and Sarawakien English were' dua kali lima.' They didn't understand what is meant by 'next of kin' So the boy put his name as next of kin. At the end , they became husband and wife!

*just received a phone call from Diana, from NZ. I know it is not anything urgent.We are still early, but her time is 5 hours ahead of us. So I know she is near noon. And I am very convinced it is nothing urgent. We just web cam until nearly 1am NZ time last night!
*She told me she had a weird dream last night --dreaming of mummy giving birth again to a little "girl". And she is not being loved anymore!
*I can understand how she is feeling right now. Far away from home, missing mummy's hug and kisses.That is why she has diverted thinking that we don't love her no more.that is part of being home sick.
*Aren't you lucky?
Things our time is really tough.Then you would tell me ,last time is different.I agree with you also. when we felt homesick, we all cry together- gather.After that we all start usual life again. We don't have phone, most of us. we write letters . may be one year, we can write around 6-8 letters per year.Thats what we all get. we were read the letters once more again!That is our life in the 70s.
*but now, we are so happy and lucky! I can call anytime I want.Are we still not having enough?

The man, may be is hospital attendant, park his bike nest to me.
He say it is raining ,

I reply , I got raincoat.

He then say ,you also use raincoat

I straight away understand what he mean.

He laugh and so I smile back.

Feel excited when I am going to Singapore today.

I can't sleep well because I am going to meet all my children.

The journey was very smooth and we reached Singapore without delay.

At the airport, Angela and Natlie were there to welcome us.

All the worries were gone when I see the two of them.

I used to be very independent last time.

But now I seem not so smart anymore.

What Diana says is correct.
She has to teach us now instead of mummy teaching them.

That shows that we are old.

I am so blessed when I see that my children are so thoughtful.

Everything were arranged for our convenience.

Bibiana was arranging her holidays for our coming.
Actually, she arranged herself to accompany us while as the other two are still too busy to accompany us.

I feel so blessed

I have my backache 4 a week already

but I still can help myself

yesterday is really terrible

I can hardly get up from my chair

I have to hold on something to get up

It really hurts

I get myself to the physiotherapy department

I told them that I really need help

She give me some pain relieve

than next week she will give me some definite treatment

last night it still hurts a lot

I get up and it is still no better

So this morning,I cant even bend myself

Another 12 days, we are going to Singapore--yaahooooooo!

wedding day for my niece , who had Stephen Johnson Disease when she was in form 4

her face was a bit dis- figured ,but still look OK

the bridegroom come as early as 730am

as usual, there s the row of men and ladies

making fun or make wedding an interesting moment to be remembered

they make jokes, play games, make people laugh and giggle

one of the games they play is

hiding the gate key inside a piece of frozen ice and to obtain the key to open the gate

the process left a pool of water outside the gate floor

mu mu go out to put a piece of cloth onto the bridegrooms car

the car happened to be my boss Mez--KH1010!

what a coincidence!

but she can't open the security door

so i go out to help

as i step out to the gate, i lost balance

i had a heavy fall onto my own body

my beloved camera hit onto the floor fairly hard and can't be used anymore!

my body is so painful till this morning

while i had my fall, some other events happen silmotaneously

the toilet door had lock someone from inside and can't be opened

met a patient, an old man-- 84 yrs old

he knew paternal grandpa, also a teacher last time

he had 9 children --3 man and 6 women

same as mine.

but his children are many over seas

4 girls and 2 boys over seas

4 girls all in US

1 boy in Taiwan and another in Aussie --Melbourne

but he is sick in hospital

i don't see any of his own children come to see him

only a nephew come to see him

he had US PR

but he told me they had try so hard ,wanting to stay in US,

but his other partner can't stand the coldness oversea

sad stories

now they stay with his unmarried girl at home

life is tough and life is uncertain

but that s life

they are old

but whenever i talked to him , he sigh.

i am very sure he has a lot s of unhappiness un reveal

feel sorry for him.

but that's is life

i know that family fairly well

i know the younger generations has many young deaths

but the old are really old

29/11/2009-- back to Sarikei to attend Ah Han 's wedding

but I still peep from outside!

30/11/2009-------is Ah Han's big day in Sarikei.

I went to Sarikei on 29/11/2009 by 830 am bus. I met a friend ( Mary Goh) from Sarikei in wet market that morning , telling me that the bus are mostly full cause of the Hari Raya Qurban/ Aidil Adha holiday following the week ends. So I rush to the bus station and book the ticket. Truly it is rather full. I manage to get a seat.

The weather is fine. I reached Sarikei around 230pm. Than my brother came to fetch me from the bus station. When I reached my brother's home, I met his wife . She is busy going out to buy something for the son's wedding. I was left alone with Chiew Huong. I go to her room and talk to her. She show me 3 blouses brought back by Kerk . There were presents from eldest sister to her.I ask if she can wear them. She seem quite happy over it and she put on for me to see. Boleh tahan. After that we have a good chat over everyday life. She shared with me how she was ill treated by her sister -in -law. Well I council her a bit intending to calm her down.

I keep thinking to myself. Why is life difficult for her. May be she 's also at fault.She is not lovely at all. She talk in a very rough manner. She make faces as she speak. I just don't understand!

4th and 5th sisters come around 6pm. We have a buffet dinner at their house that night with all the guests from both families. Ah Han wife relatives and our relatives. The relatives were from all over the places. Some from Miri, Lawas, Sibu, Bintulu, Johor Bahru, KL and so forth .We eat ,chat and we stay in their house till late. Than we left for the hotel. The next morning, we left hotel early to my brother house.

Very interesting. When we go and fetch the bride, they were many procedures. They were many jokes and fun.

We reach the church at 10 am sharp. we all stay there for the church ceremony till nearly 12 mid day. Then Ah Han aunt from JB cooked nice dishes for all of us.

At night , we have our dinner in the restaurant. All together ,we have 20 tables . Very grand one. Beautiful day to be remembered.

Make myself real busy today so that I don't feel bored. So around 5pm, I suggested to go out for a ride with our motorbike . So our 1st station is Sarawak Plaza. We park our bike just outside the gate. Happily we went in and round and round. When we came out, we found out that the back tyre is punctured. So dad say he drive round to see if there is any work shop that is still open at this hour. Praise The LORD! there is one shop about to close door. So dad got his bike repaired.

When dad was away, I was left alone near the Sarawak Plaza for about an hour. . It is sort of fun to see people passing by and see the traffic as well. So long I don't have time to see people. I was sitting next to the flower bay near to the pediatrician crossing. I see families (may be they come for holiday) some stop to ask me where to eat . I don't know well that area either! I saw two amoh ladies. one fat and one thin. I just don't understand why they don't use good supporting bra, they look horrible!

As we drive home ,we saw a road side stole sailing durians. We stop by to buy durians. We get 3 for RM 10. We enjoy it so much.

what to do .....

Once the old man ask me, what am I to do when I retired in 2 years time. Well, I just don't understand people sometimes. Why bother what I am doing? Well I woundn't be out of job if I am hardworking. The job is there waiting for me. I wouldn't be out of job.Then why ask me ? how about the old man himself......doing nothing much, the house is not cleaned, the laundry is done very ocasionaly, the floor is moped once in a while. Always make comments about other people . Well ,in this world, the mirror who image on other people is very clear, but the one to themselve is rather blur.

I take out all those to be washed, I washed all that I have to wash.I am tired now. I will do whatever I want to wash again later.

I always asked myself. If only I am a bit younger,I want to do my degree. But now that I am old. It is a bit tough. The other day, when doing my PTK4 assignments, I feel so lost. I don't know where to start. Luckily got DD to help me out. Ha haa...... I discovered one secret. My friend also ask someone else to do his project. So I am not the only one.My friends, at my age, who do degree now , suffers so much. They look so tired and old , may be because of the stress.

Yesterday , got one specialist, came to my CCU. He is a nice Dr to talk to. Actually , he always come to our area. But lately I don't see him much.I ask ,why he seldom come now? He say something else. He ask me ,how young I am . I told him. He said that I am around 50 only. Ha haa......... is he just try to pull my legs?

Sometimes, I used motorbike to go to work. When I used motor bike, I have to put on non

uniform. Then I will change to uniform at work place. They all say that I look nice in my other clothing.

I got mood swing this few days. I have wide range of thoughts at a time.Sometimes ,I can be so emotional and I just sat in my office and cry. After that I go to the wards and meet my clients again ---internal and external clients.
Now it is school holidays. It also affect me in the hospital! They follow their parents and relatives to hospital! I hate that. because it is not their place to go!I hate to face the parents or relatives. I would talk to them instead. I will pad their shoulder and talk to them. They are very cooperative most of the time.I will tell them--do you know that this is hospital? Why are you coming here? You all go to school? You learn about the bacteria thingy in school? they will node their head . And then ,I will tell them not to come again next time. And I usually ask them to hold little finger as a promise. It is so cute sometimes. I am fade up with that way---may be will come out with another way next time.
When I come to the office, I feel lonely .I think of the words people used to say----you are so straight forward. You always talk as if you are the winner.You always think that you are great and you are nothing!you think you are clever but you are nuts!These comments keep turning in my mind. And it doesn't go away ! It s sort of hurting me all the time. What a life I am living! your children also left you because you are a bad mother. Am I like what someone says? I am confused. I always thought my children left home for good. But what is the comments at the end of the day ? OMG . God , I leave it to you for good judgement. I am tired!
10 Malaysia plan... We have a part to play as well.2 days ago, we receive a circular on planning on 10 Malaysia plan. And the dead line is 30/11/2009. Malaysia government like to give short notice of doing things.So yesterday ,I have to go to search for information's. Only to find out that the people who are involve, all go on leave! This is Malaysia boleh!Whole day spend my time for nothing much.I try my level best to tell my Nursing sisters to do what have to be done.So their weekend have to be spent on 10 Malaysia plan.
Our right hand side Kuching neighbour come from else where for holiday. At the same time ,they cut the backyard tall grass. I am sort of scared because it looks like a haunted house with the tall grass. And the other day I saw a big rat inside the compound. I hate rats.The neighbour are noisy.
I am harvesting the guava from our back yard. It is as big as the newborn baby's head. It is really rewarding! I like the feeling of harvesting the fruit you grown by yourself.
This weekend I am going to Sarikei ( no more Sarikei home!)to join Ah Han's wedding.I heard that this couple had hard saving for their wedding. They both just come out to work .And they don't earn much. They have to spend so much for their wedding. well, every one gets married. No need to spend a lot on your wedding. cin cai sedikit lah.
Today is public holiday, I am not working. so I get up early to blog.
Last night DD and I talk in the lap top . I am so Happy over it.I have learn a lot of staff from DD. She is never angry over me when I ask stupid questions. DD thank you so much.
I still remember the 1st time DD hold my hand to teach me how to sms.My hands become so stiff with all this little electronic thingy! But I make it . Thank you so much DD.gtg with my laundry and household thingy.

I placed the cheque in the drawer in my room and in my working bag for the past 24 hours or so. Today , I get it photostated and keep a copy for remembrance. That is the biggest money (in cheque) I ever had in my life! This morning , I carry it ( a house) in my pocket to be deposited in the bank. Dad carry me on his motorbike.
I feel sad today. Our house belongs to someone else.
I don't feel I have any effort buying that house, because it is cut through my pay slip.
Our first and very only house in Sarikei!
But Sarikei is not a good place for me!
It brings me bad memories.
I hate the people in Sarikei.
They are funny and the people there are full of jealousy.
Including your own people!
Sarikei is full of funny people!
When you buy a new car , Sarikei people look at you at different angle. They are jealous!
When you do renovation to your house, you can hear a funny sound around you, they are jealous!
When they know that you are better than them , they are unhappy. Actually , they are jealous!
Including your own people and relatives!
When your children get good results in school, they are jealous!
What else again about SARIKEI.

we have sold our house in Sarikei! I was telling DD the house in exchange of the little piece of cheque! I mean a little piece of paper.Dad say , feel a bit sad ! I look it at a different angle. since we cannot take care of it well , then might as well get another owner to look after it well. Thank you God for choosing another good owner for our house.
Last of the last....
we 2 drive to Sarikei home for the last time.
we 2 sleep there for the last round.
we 2 see the house from inside for the last round.
we 2 packed and see all the things inside for the last round.
Dad bring in the last thing to our car.
we 2 lock the gate for the last round.
I can see dad feel uneasy .
but I am a bit stronger in that sence.

Year end fever for the managers

Piles of works waiting for us after my leave from KL.The year end appraisals---ACR(annual confidential reports )for all my staff, the date line reports, the minutes etc. so much work to do.I really have to work so hard to finish all that. Well ,I have finished all that. And I can relax a bit after this.Yesterday , when Angela rang me whether to have a holiday in Singapore, I straight away agree. I want to go for a break out of my work place. Ha .....ha...... happy to have my Xmas oversea for 2009!

my 2 days leave

It is such a lesson to learn in this 2 days. I am staying with my friends daughter place. she is graduated with civil engineering. Her mum told me that, when she just graduated, she worked for a Malay boss. She promised to pay her RM 2.5 k per month. When coming to payment, she pay her only RM 6-700 per month. she worked for her for about 6 mouths. I also don't know why she continued to work without money. May be because she is a native. We are different people. Her father is a doctor, I am very show he knew what is best for her daughter

My friends are very blunt with her children. When we are inside the car, she bought a new car --RUSH, for her daughter.She told me is her first time in this new car.Her girl didn't put on her seat belt. She says to her daughter-- better use your seat belt, you don't bring trouble to me. I feel sort of hurt from her words. I am very sure this is how her girl feel.

My friend is very nagging. One night when her daughter come back from work. She nags so much , that I also feel that she is too much. She keeps going to her girl's room while she is sleeping. she will ask her to eat , to bath and many more. I feel bored. I am very sure this is how her girl feels.I always think to myself. If the children are not with us, are they the same? then leave them alone so that they grow at their own pace.If you keep telling them, they are bored with you. And they might hate you.I noticed that her daughter sometimes, node their head instead of talking. I think sure they feel bored .

Lie for good

So when my girl want to meet me, I have to make up story.Because I always tell my friends that my girl is in Ipoh. Or else if I say my girl in KL, and I want to stay with her, I feel shy. That is why I lie to her that my girl come to KL for a course. This is to ease my shy.

As a mother ,we have to lie many times to make things look OK to people.This is life.

PTK4
Went for my PTK4 on 1-4/11/2009. It has been so stressful for us. We have to do public speaking in Bahasa Malayu. We have to do group work and we have to present the group work at a very short preparation time. Our programme stretched up to 11 or 12 midnight. It was such a stressful thing! And today, we have 3 hours written examination. OMG...........it is an open book exam! 1st time in my live that we are doing open book exam!
Everybody is so tensed up yesterday ! That is the day before exam. Everybody read and work so hard for the exam. But for me, I was so sleepy when facing any books. OMG! I am worried or what am I to do? I think to myself, if I stressed out so much to study, I wouldn't get anything also. So I prefer to hold back.I don't want to study at all. I left everything to GOD.So I go here and there to see what others are doing. When I go to the Photostat room, I saw so many people Photostatting a lot of everything. So I look around and photostat what the others are Photostatting.I gain knowledge in that way! or else I will feel so sleepy. The others all laugh at me being spy of what others are doing. Actually I am so sleepy.So last night, more exciting! Everybody on their lap top to put in whatever thing they feel important for them.But I still can't do anything!I thought whatever I know,

I will known already, what I don't know I wouldn't know just by reading at the last moment.So I go to sleep early. My roommate ask me... you always sleep early. Yes I say, I always do. I can sleep very well last night.I had a funny dream.I dream that as if i am going for Chin Ming festival.I saw my grandma in my dream . She looked healthy in my dream.
Come this early morning. I looked around and see how are people behaving.Interesting!so many people bring lap top........ful of burga..itu memang Malaysia boleh!I noticed one lady bringing a big bag of books using the traveling bag.
When the exam paper was distributed down, well ,all the questions were from every day work life procedures! I can do them without much difficulty.How much the books are used, I am feeling very doubtful.Now I know what open book exam means. You have no time to open your books. it is just a act . I really laugh out loud. This is life.

my stomach is not user friendly.

Last 2 weeks I had a terrible gastric pain.I can't quite remember what I have eaten.

But the pain was so bad that I have to go to the hospital for 2 doses of injection of buscopan.

DD mum thank you so much for sending me to hospital for the injections. I will always remember you for that. When I need help, you are there to help me.I know whom I can depend on. God, thank you for giving me such a lovely girl .

Last night, I have the same problem again. It really hurts and DD brought me to hospital for injection again.So today I have to be extra careful when I eat.

PTK4

I am quite pissed off when hearing about my PTK4. I will be having my PTK4 in KL from 1-4 of November. My friends and me will stay in KL for a few days for holidaying there.I have never had a Malay class and i have to do public speaking in Bahasa malayu .What is that man? I am really born to fail . but whatever it is, I will just do whatever I can.

mammogram and the other tests

I have my mammogram done on 29/9/2009. The result is good . I don't have anything. i also have my OGTT done on 17/10/2009. I am not a diabetic patient!Thank GOD, I can eat whatever thing I want! but I will continued to eat well to keep myself fit.

Last week I dream of my late mother. I brought her in QSK 2010. Sort of I brought her to her relative house(don't know whose house)She dressed up very smart -whole suit of flowery in nature. She was still very strong and quite young look in my dream. As I bought rambutons, she ask me to buy a branch for her to bring to her relative. hey so near le.

*appreciations

-there are people born , who never know how to appreciate others. But tell you all folks, knowing how to appreciate people can be learned. I met a friend, she don't know what is appreciation. she only know how to receive and don't even know how to say --thank you. You think people love you in that sense ?GOK.

*only know self pity.

-that type of life cannot sustain long. People will get out of your way one day. we all don't like that

*only know how to receive and don't know how to give
-receive , receive, and receive......they never know how to give. Give anything... love, care, gifts, etc. they thought that is a must that we should give and they receive. Life is not true in that sense. Tell you gals, life is not like that.We are humans. We all need people to give back some of the love we gave away.It can be learned.

*Cry ,cry , and cry

-people who cry do not know how to make decision well. They are thinking when they cry , the others will give in . life is not like that. Others get irritated one day of your cry. Only people who don't know how to behave do that sort of irresponsible gesture.

*don't do to others what you do not want them to do to you

-always think, if the other people do what they do to me, am I happy? If I am not happy ,then I don't do to people. Say mocking words to others and not knowing that she had make a mistake, it is unbearable.

I have a friend who stay with me for a while. At the beginning, I am stretching myself to sort of please her. But of course I also slow down, after all I am a human being. But there were many saura after that. I heard that. I am a God 's daughter. I can hear a lot of sounds which are unheard by people. But mind you, I am using my six sense to hear the unheard.I am some one who is smart.

-It is unbearable sometimes.We don't even know what has gone wrong and the face is very long .Why , why .don't know.GOK..who on earth that others are so good to another fellow that she or he is not aware!

The mother was bringing the children to the backyard to cut some branches for the lantern to celebrate the moon cake festival in the evening. That was what I used to do when my children were small. but of all the thing, there came the wasps from the bush and attacked all of them. The 2 siblings died --the boy is 4 years old and the girl is 6 years old. Both died before reaching hospital. The mother was ventilated in the ICU till today. The other boy, that is the elder brother to the two siblings , died yesterday. OMG! I feel so sad today. I pity the father. He has lost 3 children --all his kids just like that! What is life man!

I came to work early as usual--that is 0647 am. The jam was bad. I have to wait for 2 traffic round before I can go. I reached hospital at 0708am. That is for 4 kilometers of journey.

I went for the usual Monday meeting at cardiac clinic --from 0745 to around 0830 or 0900.But today it is chaired by our Junior cardiologist and we finished at 0805. So I rushed to the main matrons office to take over duty from our morning nursing sister .

As usual, we have many things to settle.I can settle that well.

Is about 0930, when I go to CTW . There is this crazy HO. thinking that he is smart.I asked, You are Dr.? then I will look at their name tag. He ask me back --why?I am quite annoyed by the way he answered me. I told him that he is blunt of what he is asking.And i go away from him.

At the same time, i see so many students lining up the corridor. Are they supposed to be with the patients or standing around like idiod? I am so peaced off this morning!

old man patient

This patient has been with us for about 2 weeks already.Every time I meet him ,he will shade tears. If he is an actor, can earn good money le !.Actually , he is from Bintangor.He can relate many old stories from Bintangor. When he talk, he also cry, that is the most beautiful part of the story!Then I have to calm him down.The first day I see him, he is coming for angiogram.His findings in the angiogram is that he needs a by pass surgery.He told me, will he be AMEN if he go for the surgery.......meaning that will he die during operation.Then he start to cry That is the first time I see him cry.His son is vascular surgeon in England.Then I stay to council the old man(79 years old) After operation , he is OK and was discharged yesterday(23092009)May God bless him?

where are you?

our little sister was talking to me while lying down side by side to me last night. I related my old patient to her. She starts to shade tears. She related her story when she was asked to get adminted to hospital when her blood test shows meliodosis in 2005.That was when I just transferred to Kuching.I was in SGH on 15082005 .She told me she keep crying while in Sarikei Hospital.She felt scared and helpless without mummy around.Luckily ,Nong was with her in the hospital.I was neither easy that time. I was new to SGH.I was also helpless like the little girl that time. We were shading tears together during that time.

I arranged her to get down to SGH for treatment. Praised Lord that she is very OK now.

Nong, DD missed you a lot. Without you, she will cry more that time. Thank you Nong for helping her while mum was not around.

2 stories--

There's this Chinese family whose father passed away the other day. one of the son already buy coffin for the diseased. But the coffin vendor telephoned the other brother who answered phone monotones. --ya... hmmmm. ye.. so the coffin vendor get for granted that he wanted to buy a coffin. At the end, two coffins bought for the same corpse. Who is wrong? GOK.

The morale of the story is, speak full sentences. Don't ya ,ye, hm and ho.. ho..

The A(H1N1) team of doctors are very stressed. They hold meetings every now and then so as to iron out the situation in the hospital. For Ur information, Sarawak state has done badly in the controlling of the A(H1N1).Sabah state--no death so far. So during one of the meetings, one of the Dr gets very angry. He says that he become Dr Lee Chu Huk. Dr lee is also one of the A( H1N1 ) Dr. But the previous Dr become an incredible "HUK"!

going for promotion..... the wife is at fault again, because she ask him to apply for promotion.
once more again , and again, and again........and again .....and again......... the wife is for ever sial.
now what again...........
the children courses .........the wife is at fault again .
I am always blamed whenver the thing come out not to his likings. I am at my top patience already.

2 weeks ago, the wave came again,
I was told to stop him to look at the TV and lap top on saham things .
so I am too kind sometimes, so whenever he see, I just remind him don't see again.
The whole night up and down, doing what , I don't know.
Around 2 or 3 am, I wake up and see him seeing the shares things with the lap top again!
So I say ,try not to see the share market again lah, since you tell me to stop you.
He scolded me so loud . I think the whole row of the inmates can hear his voice."The money is mine , why do you have 2 bother. I finish my money, then I will commit suicide."I feel so shameful of neighbouring to hear us, I stop instantly.
I go 2 work in the morning.
I rang him from work place, hoping 2 tell him 2 stop the share thing. He shouted and scold me again over the phone.He say thing like-- I am not fit 2 become his wife, he no need me 2 remind him of what 2 do n many more. I say, it is OK 4 me, all the words are from his mouth. So i say I wouldn't talk 2 u again.
So till 2day, I didn't talk.

May b around 4 or 5 in the morning, he get up from sleep n scold me----alone talking--cursing me all sort of thing from his mouth.
I pretend not 2 hear.But I heard everything.

SIAL,SIAL, SIAL----just like the worm, kana pun SIAL----- and drive off into the thin air.

I am just wandering, who 's sial? mind u, I am not sial, I supported all my children to school. they are all ok now. Please continued to be ok, for the sake of ur mummy. ur mum has no position in the family. But it is ok. I have all of you to be proud of. I am so happy with you all. You all are my pride.

I met a orthopaedic surgeon---Mr Wong on the corridor this morning. We worked together last time in Sarikei. He is a good and nice doctor. I still remember ,the couple have a baby boy while working in Sarikei . I even go for their full moon party for the boy. He shared with me so many things in the corridor. He told me that his wife is taking 6 months um payed leave because she had a crash with her boss. His wife is a radiologist in SGH .I wander what is happening in SGH? politics every where. Sometimes we have to take a deep breath to smooth out the situation.

I share with him about my right sided lateral side below knee pain . It come in the morning when I get up from sleep. It can be quite painful that I feel bad about it. When I defaecate, the pain will come also.It has been there for quite sometime already. When I have the pains and aches, I will think of him. But today, God send him to me. Thank you, the Almighty God .You are always with me when I need you. He told me to take 2 tablets of neurobion instead of one. I will take 2 from tomorrow onwards. Thank you so much Dr . Wong. GBU.

When I was a little girl , I envy that I got married one day and have a happy family. I dreamed that I am having a few kids and live happily ever after.Then I go to secondary school . Life was tough. There was little money. My dream then was to study hard and earn a living by myself. I dream of going to university and become someone useful. Life was not as what I think. We are very poor. We were penniless.Going to school was not a luxury. It was a fighting experience. Every time when the new term starts, it was our big challenge. We have to beg , and beg from our parents to let us go for another term. Then another term starts and ends, the story goes on till we were in form 5. Then the story ends there, because we have to find our own living. Than come nursing. It was my 1st job applied and I got it. If not ,I don't know who I am today. I start training on 3/5/1972 in School of Nursing in Kuching. The training was 3 years 4 months( I don't know why 4 months extra) I think we follow England program last time. Life was tough that time. We were always scolded by our seniors , bullied by them and quietly cried in the corner and start work again. We never dare to grumble or say a word of unhappiness. We are in the world of scare. Scared of people expelled us, scared of no job, scared of parents scold us......many scares. That was our life.

Nowadays it is very different. Go to school as they preferences. Come out from school, don't want to work. Some still want to study, thinking their parents can feed them for ever and ever. When they earn money, they know how to keep for them self. They forget how their parents strungle so hard to survive them. Some of the parents , more pitiful. I heard my friends tell me, one thread of mee also didn't see. Why are life like that nowadays? we don't know.Is it a ill ed society's? Only GOD know. I don't mean all kids are like that, some are very good also. But the percentage is few. When I do counseling, I always have to tell my staff , have to remember to send money home for your parents.Gtg

I haven't blog for quite sometime . Mainly because I am lazy.Many things happen each day.And it has been very exciting.Oh ya, I just want to tell you all, I used motorbike to go for work. Partly because it is saving petrol money, and I can avoid the jam. i can reach home within 15 minutes, or else I use 45 minutes to one hour, imagine how much time I can save in a year?People will say, hey , you are matron, people will look down on you. Who cares, if you have no money then people despise you. Oh ya, a few doctors follow my footstep using motorbike to come to work.

The whether is horrible lately.Someday it is so sunny with the haze and the other day, heavy rain.and the type A H1N1....which contribute another factor for less crowd in the shopping mall.Even the church has less people. They say they are scared of the H1N1. but whatever it i , where to hide. If you get it, it is for the better, because you will have the immunity. Everything leave it to the Almighty God.

On 9/8/2009, one of our nursing sister colleague in Bintulu hung herself. I heard that she is so stressful because their matron always scold her. But whatever it is ,now that she is gone forever. I also don't know lah, people nowadays very sensitive. She is a Christan also, and she works for more than 30 years already. she has a happy family (Father And Mother I Love You) The children were all graduated already.Now the children have no mother to love. Sigh!Life is like that sometimes.

It is 1pm in the afternoon, daddy is cooking now, I love dad for his nice cooking.I see that he is going to cook fry rice. Lately he always hide in the home and not going out, he is worry about the H1N1!

We have set up the ILI (influenza like illness) ward. So whoever has the ILI will be admitted there. We don't know where will it eradicated. It has been quite a serious matter lately.gtg

we came here on the 18/7/2009 by bus, 6 hours journey. Really tired. we started at 6am by a van then transferred to a bus when we reach at the Cambodia -Vietnam border. Hey everybody, the time here is an hour later than Malaysia time. when we reached Ho Chi Minn City, it is around 2pm.We straight go to presidential residency. It is really interesting. I have taken many photos. will down lord when i go back to Sarawak. we have good food everyday. over eating everyday.Today, we visited the US Army Force exhibition center and we go for a church service, see the post office, the Roman Catholic Church which were built in the 1880s by France during their rule.gtg

Cambodia , we come..

we come here on 10/7/2009 --early morning flight by MAS, that is as early as 6 am in the morning. Then we fly off again to Phenoms Penh at 10:30 am flight. we reach here around 12 noon. hey.. the time here is an hour later. The church mates came to bring us to Asia Hotel in Phnom Penh. The whether here is very hot-- 36degree C. sweating like mad. we stay there for a night. then to Siem Reap Angkor Wat the next day. We can't ring you all because it is very expensive. 1 Sms is RM 2. If telephone 1 min is RM 9. Further more our phone is flat. can't charge-- no 3 pin plug 4 charging. The living standard here is high-- use US dollar.1 hour Internet is US 2. The thing in town is using us dollar. I have taken a lot of photos. The food here is OK . We visited many temples today.We are scare of Type A H1N1 also. Don't know lah , everything leave it to God. Some of the people here can speak good English. The others, I don't know what they are talking about. Just like the duck talking to the chicken. But life is interesting. haha.. ...we want to travel again next year. We will be back to Kuching by 21/7/2009, reaching Kuching around 12 midnight.

My Kota Kinabalu ( KK) and Lawas trips....

I use MAS airlines (transit KK to Hong Kong ) to come to KK on 29/6/2009 at 9am flight. When I reach the airport at KK, my brother in law and my sister Hung come just in time to fetch me . I don't have to wait at all. They come all the way from Lawas to fetch me. They are adorable couple. So we roam a bit in KK town , have lunch then proceed to Mount Kinabalu (Mt KK) . My sister bought a pair of trousers and a blouse. Nice!

We reach Mt KK around 6pm. the weather cold-- Just like Coronary Care Unit ( CCU) centralise air con. With hot weather like now-- it s just nice to stay at Mt KK! no wander my brother in law like to go there every now and then! They have holiday there fairly often. May be once a month. They said they are learning hard to adapt that type of living. I really envy them.We stay at the SIB church villa-- Holiday Villa-- at RM 15 per head. But the whole big room is yours! May be can stay 10 - 20 people. The toilet is down stairs. After we bath , we go to eat at another place. It is realy cheap.

computer course...

I go to computer lab to learn computer excel for 3 days--23-25/6/2009. Realy interesting and we learn a lot of things. I love it so much. Dad had fell sick last week. But after the antibiotics, he as if no more sick. Antibiotics work very well on him , GBhim. Sometimes ,he is like a little kid. Y ?Y? Y? meaning that I have to nurse a little boy from now on.
