Stressful days..

2009 has mark a stressful year for me.For the whole of last week, it has been raining continuously. The clothing smells horrible.In the afternoon, when the rain stopped for a while, we quickly send DD to school. At many places, the water is still high. But we manage to send her to school safe and smooth.

Last night , the flood is high. Every hour ,we go out to check the water level, even though we are not assign to do so. As if it is every body's job to check on the water level. The whole group of people gathered every now and then to see how fast is the tide , how far it has go , which house is immersed in water, bla bla.....Mind you, we go under the rain! Each time, we walk a few steps, the rain comes. Sometimes, we bring umbrella, sometimes ,forget. It is fun!On the ground, we see many things... worms, all sorts of ants, centipedes, beetles.....We go many trips--to and fro to the road junction .

The problem comes this morning. When I wake up in the morning.we find that the water level is still high. The car can't go.So it means that I can't go to work. Around 1:00 something, I decided that I should go to work.So dad bring me with his bike. We don't use car because we are scared, if certain place, if the water is still high, we would be having problem if we use car. Fair enough, it is quite smooth journey.When I reach work place, I was told that more than 70 nursing staff didn't come to work cos of flood. The chief matron asks me to be on duty straight away. She remind me that I am not suppose to go back tonight.I answered her that I am ever ready to stay for the night. Hope things will be smooth out by tomorrow.
