Staying at home....

keeering.....keeeeering......

Morning call at 6am.Stop the ringing! I don't have to go to work today! I decided to take leave for three days on Monday. Jia on her conversation with me that day, give me that idea. She told me 8/12 is a public holiday! how can I forget that! Anyway Jia bring me back to real life. I always work and forget about myself.I feel tired. I need a break. So ha...ha.... 3 days leave plus 2 days weekends plus 1 public holiday---all together, I have 6 days .That is a good break. I have decided to go back to Sarikei home to settle something.I think of the bike, the old car, and many more things.....

Usually, during working days, I wake up at 6am. I will flip through the newspapers to see 'big' news. At the same time, I do many things ---boil water, sometimes put clothing to the washing machine( not everyday we do washing----3 of us not many clothing ) When the water is boiled, I make my breakfast drink, that is instant Quaker oats. Oats is a good food. It lowers your cholesterol level in your body. Everybody can try that. Then I help myself with the 14 daily activities. What are they? may be Nong can tell us. Then I am ready by 645am.I am ready to go to work. You will ask me ,why I go to work so early? well, you know people my age, don't like to be late for work. And also that time, there is no traffic jam. I reach hospital around 705 or 710am. Then I go round ward. That time,I can see a lot of events.I can see how my nurses hand over duties. Actually, I want to catch the wrong doings. If I got enough time, I will go to another ward of mine to see and to supervise.By than ,it is around 10 minutes to 8am. Then I have to go to main office to take over duty from the night nursing sister. We spent about an hour there. We then go back to our own area again.By then the doctors are there to do Ward round.I will be there most of the time if I am not having meetings or any other commitments. That is the time I will tell doctors to wash hands and bla.. bla... One day, I ask the cardiologist--whisper into his ears--- have you wash your hands? surprisingly, he says.. not yet---- when you are here, I wash... or else no. What am I to say? I laugh, then everybody laugh. But he is very honest. I like him. The other lady cardiologist, also so cute, she says to me, if I am around, she always remember washing her hands. Another cardiologist, more interesting, every time he spirit rub his hands, he will ' hands up' to show me. At 1st, I don't know what he is trying to tell me. After that he told me ' I have wash my hands' Ha.. ha..... I am a figure to remind people to wash hands!
The other day, we have a medical student from New Zealand. I show him the poster on 5 moments of hand washing ----guidelines from WHO. Every time he sees me, he will smile. He smile because he sees me washing hands. He says that I am showing good example. When he sees me doing, he will also do. I say, that is very good.
If I am on leave, I have to get someone to cover my area. So next week my friend want to take leave.I have to cover her. It is December , I will be very busy doing the staff appraisal. Tough month ahead.
Feel bored! me never! I got so much to do. I thank DD so very much to help me to know how to blog. That is my dream actually. I can write as I like. I can be occupied. Now I must learn how to take photos to put inside the blog. That is my next strategy. Wish me success.
